Comment Guidelines

We encourage you to use comments to engage with users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other. However, in order to maintain the high level of discourse we’ve all come to value and expect, please keep the following criteria in mind:

  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically.
  •  Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and links within a comment will be removed
  • Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user.
  • Don’t Monopolize the Conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also believe strongly in giving everyone a chance to air their thoughts. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. If we receive complaints about individuals who take over a thread or forum, we reserve the right to ban them from the site, without recourse.

What a great week! Started with last Sunday when I told everyone we'd pump hard and we flew on Monday! Been selling 5/22 SPX Puts which I recommended everyone on Thursday (2940, 2930, 2920 and 2910). Huge gains on Friday with those. Decided to close out the Puts I wrote for 5/29 before the close on Friday because I predict this: We CRASH next week, possibly BLACK TUESDAY...

Have liquidated the rest of my FTSE stock and moved everything to cash. For 15 years I pinned my hopes on this index, and the result of my patience? - it has moved sideways at best. I started moving to US indices 6 months ago and will move the rest of my cash to US indices after this mini sell off is over. FTSE is a hopeless, outdated, useless, poor returning index. It never got over 2008 and will not for another decade, steer clear!

Meantime, Moderna is indeed moving at a fast clip: On Monday, it submitted a proposal to the FDA to enter Phase 2, subject to final safety findings from Phase 1.(The second phase of a typical clinical study ramps up the number of people -- often into the hundreds, including more members of at-risk groups. In Phase 3, the vaccine is given to thousands of people and tested for efficacy and safety, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.)
